Adjunct Faculty, JournalismThe George Mason University, Department of Communication invites applications for Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate courses in journalism for Fall 2022, including courses titled News Reporting & Writing, Political Reporting, and Writing Across the Media.George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.Responsibilities:Teach undergraduate course/s, prepare course materials, grade, engage students in the classroom, and respond to student emails. No office hours required.Required Qualifications:Three years as a practicing journalist/content producer and a master's degree in journalism, communication, or related field.
