Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with a consumer goods and apparel company is searching for a skilled Senior Manager. The Manager will be supporting the processing of the company's payrolls within a single Region. You will work closely with Human Resources to understand and mitigate issues with payroll input and processing. They will also have advanced knowledge of ADP and payroll experience. Responsibilities:

  • Review contract revenue to ensure appropriate revenue recognition
  • Manage closing and posting of financial records; ensure accuracy of financial statements
  • Work side by side with various ADP in country payroll partners to ensure teammates throughout the region are paid accurately
  • Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance; establish accounting process and internal control framework over newly implemented accounting rules
  • Review and participate in monthly reconciliations; manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness
  • Advise on payroll controls, risk and governance
  • Analyze data to check for discrepancy and inconsistency; provide solutions and recommendations
  • Acts as a liaison between the company, and external entities to ensure that proper information is recorded and maintained
  • Assist with audit activities, providing the required documentation and materials to external auditors
  • Prepare reports as required by managers; complete ad hoc tasks as assigned


Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • CPP preferred
  • 10+ years of payroll experience required
  • 3+ years of experience with coaching, mentoring, and leading a team
  • Familiarity with ADP and VLOOKUP
  • Strong technical skills using Microsoft Office applications, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; supervisory experience preferred
