Senior Associate, CreditWise User Growth Marketing

Capital One, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For," is looking for a strategic, proactive and data-driven digital marketer to join our CreditWise marketing team to drive user growth and engagement campaigns, creative strategy and learning agendas across digital channels. CreditWise from Capital One is a free tool that allows everyone - whether they're a Capital One customer or not - to check and monitor their credit score. This role is responsible for executing and analyzing campaigns that span the digital consumer journey and touchpoints to drive key marketing and business results for our ambitious CreditWise marketing program. It requires a mix of digital channel marketing and consumer experience expertise, a comprehensive knowledge of the CreditWise brand and product, and marketing analytics and optimization skills.

Responsibilities
  • Drive ongoing user growth and engagement campaign execution and testing initiatives for CreditWise in digital channels including paid search, display, paid social, email, SEO/content marketing, email, mobile app, SMS and our site
  • Connect user growth and engagement marketing to help build a full funnel CreditWise marketing program
  • Synthesize consumer research insights, segmentation/behavioral data, marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors to identify new strategic recommendations to improve marketing and business results and Brand impact
  • Understanding of marketing tech, data management platforms, and data usage strategy to drive enrollment results
  • Collaborate with business analyst teams to understand total business performance and build on analysis to identify new opportunities and adjust marketing/ testing strategies
  • Serve as key liaison for and collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, channel/media partners, product marketing, creative, legal and operations partners
  • Translate and communicate business intent in a directive manner that partner teams can act on
  • Partner with internal and external creative, media and marketing technology teams to optimize and scale existing channels, and expand into new channels to drive efficient lift in KPIs, particularly conversion
  • Champion the brand, ensuring that all representations of CreditWise are in line with its brand personas, voice and style guides
  • Write clear and concise creative briefs, test documents, test plans and strategies, driving continued performance and optimization against KPIs across channels

  • Is confident with interpreting analysis
  • Is able to structure analytical requests
  • Is able to combine analytics and qualitative data to form a marketing strategy and approach
  • Is able to break a strategy down into a testing plan that accelerates momentum and speed to market
  • Understands the current martech capabilities in the marketplace
  • Is able to connect martech capabilities to marketing possibilities across targeting, creative, and experience
  • Is able to create and operate in a systems level view of marketing
  • Thrives on collaboration, the opportunity to build in white space and the drive for results
  • Is a highly effective communicator and skilled relationship-builder who can influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking
  • Can manage the details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Military experience
  • At least 2 years of multi-channel digital marketing experience on agency or client-side
  • At least 2 years of experience in planning, executing and analyzing marketing programs
  • At least 2 years of experience managing creative processes, partnering with creative teams and developing creative optimization frameworks and briefs


Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
  • At least 2 years of experience driving user growth for an app or digital product
  • At least 2 years of experience driving customer engagement for an app or digital product
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing for financial services or another highly regulated industry
  • At least 2 years of experience driving optimization plans and creative strategy
  • At least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
  • At least 1 year of experience working with marketing tech platforms, including data management platforms
