By joining our team, you can help clients achieve impact and value from their investments in both people and technology that support enterprise-wide operations, as well as solutions for specific functions in the organization, from IT to finance and the supply chain.Work you'll doInstalling and maintaining Momentum and Oracle RDBMS on both unclassified and classified networksAdvise client on database application sizing, performance, maintenance, architecture, etc.Training and mentoring DBA team membersManaging and maintaining multiple Momentum and Oracle RDBMS instancesAssessing infrastructure and hosting requirements and recommending enhancementsMonitoring system availability and responding to unplanned eventsExecuting the processes and activities for solution backup, recovery, refresh/cloning, performance tuning, and security (physical and data)Installing and verifying Oracle applications, security and system patches to the EBS applications and databases on a quarterly basisSupporting and performing capacity planning, Disaster Recovery, testing, etc.Performing software application and database upgrades; cloning; patching; monitoring and tuning the Production and Non-Production environmentsTroubleshooting advanced functional, technical, and integration issuesThe teamDeloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Teams assess current business processes and capabilities as part of digital transformation initiatives and support strategic priorities across clients' enterprises.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureActive TS/SCI security clearance required5+ years of experience supporting Momentum or Oracle Applications DatabasesPreferred:Comptia Security+ certificationAbility to apply patches and clone environmentsExperience with AWS Cloud a plusExperience working in Linux/UNIX environmentsAbility to read/write shell scripts, SQL and PL/SQL scriptsAbility to identify STIG discovery and remediationExcellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skillsExcellent analysis, documentation and consulting skillsStrong understanding of formal project management methodologiesSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsFamiliarity working with sensitive data in a secure environment is a plusExperience working with Linux Red Hat Operating System (O/S)
