Job Summary/Company: Our partner, a progressive nonprofit focused on enhancing economic opportunities for LGBT-owned organizations, is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant - Supplier Diversity to join their dynamic team. If you are have a strong administrative background, are interested in bolstering your project management skills, and are passionate about expanding opportunities for the LGBT community, this could be the opportunity for you!

This position will be 100% remote. Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist department in timely follow-ups with applicants, correspondence with new leads, and initial outreach to expiring suppliers
  • Support department in providing exceptional customer service to business owners utilizing organization's programs
  • Assist in preparing certification application materials and maintaining an updated database
  • Saving applications for the team, producing certificates, and sending certification letters
  • Ensure that the Supplier Diversity department's electronic records are organized and up to-date
  • Conduct and maintain surveys sent to LGBTBE's and perform survey management for the department
  • Work closely with Affiliate Relations and External Affairs to coordinate site visits

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a professional environment, preferably in a client relationship or business development field a plus
  • Experience with CSM platforms or tools a plus (Salesforce, iMIS, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere
