Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment must be worn when required.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following, in addition to,duties may be assigned:Performs preventive maintenance andsome predictive maintenance tasks.Disassembles and reassembles equipment to gain access to,remove and replace defective parts.Installs, adjusts, and aligns machinery for maximum performance.Performs minor lubrication and fabricates some new parts.Starting pay for this role is $32.66per hour with potential to earn $41.33per hour.Troubleshoots plant equipment, identifies problems and performs effective repairs.Physical Requirements and EnvironmentAbility to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materialsMust be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respiratorAbility to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.Required QualificationsCandidates are expected to successfully pass mechanical aptitude tests (written and hands on) prior to entering the Maintenance DepartmentAbleto calculate figures and amounts such as proportions,percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
