We're looking for an experienced manager to re-define the way we move, transform, and share data within our servicing portfolio. In this role, you will play a critical role in achieving our strategy. You will coordinate extensively with business process owners and technology support teams to create a framework for distributing data both internally and externally that simplifies our business and drives it forward. In addition, through improving access to data, you will support enhancements to our analytical capabilities and help us answer questions critical to business decisions.

What will you do? :
  • Drive definition of key portfolio performance metrics using data from production systems, and create standards for publishing these metrics to Agency associates
  • Use available tools - e.g. QuickSight - to develop solutions that standardize the consumption of loan servicing and asset management data, and ensure these solutions can be customized to our recurring reporting requirements
  • Engage with users and related stakeholders to identify opportunities and uncover untapped needs
  • Perform data extractions and execute complex analytics in response to business problems
  • Identify opportunities to apply cutting-edge technology like automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to re-imagine the way Capital One manages Agency servicing operations

Here's what you'll need to be successful :
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to continually validating the data provided to our associates and partners
  • Proven track record of shipping successful products to market which exceed user expectations
  • Knowledge and passion for emerging technologies and how they are used to empower developers and businesses to deliver great products
  • Grounding in human-centered design with a natural empathy for users
  • Strategic thinking and an ability to effectively identify opportunities for growth in new businesses and markets
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
  • Structured communication & storytelling skills with all audiences
  • Significant experience applying analytical rigor to support technology decisions

Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least three years of experience with Multifamily mortgage data
  • At least 1 year of experience with Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications :
  • At least five years of experience with Multifamily mortgage data
  • At least two years of experience with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac monthly reporting processes
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate complex data-sets
