Additional description What You Will Do:We are looking for a Stress Engineer to create beautiful Aircraft interiors for VIP's and Heads of State. Imagine designing 4000 sq. ft of LUXURY home in the SKY Review engineering drawings for structural integrity and compliance with FAA regulations Complete stress analysis documents to show compliance to FAA regulations Utilize classical hand analysis methods and Finite Element Modeling techniques Generate engineering technical documents, assist in performance of laboratory and aircraft testing May perform as functional Lead for stress team on specific project(s) Candidate skills & requirements What You Must Have: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or equivalent, minimum 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience NASTRAN Modeling and FEMAP experience desired Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, write technical reports and correspondence Working knowledge of Microsoft products and Computer Aided Drafting/Design (CAD) Aviation background and aircraft interior industry experience desireAcross all team members, no matter where they work at Greenpoint, we are looking for people who are: Team Oriented Process Focused Open & Honest in their Communication Quality Minded Persistent and who honor commitmentsWhere We Work:Our Bothell, Washington facility is the heart of Greenpoint.
