Overview Element has an opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineering Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. Responsibilities * Testing and troubleshooting Electrical and RF Safety requirements on wirelessdevices using near-field RF probes, liquid dielectric bio-material solutions and RF dipole antennas * Assisting in data measurement and analysis in programs such as Google Documents, MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat * Collaborating daily with managers and test engineers * Coordinating and managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines Skills / Qualifications * Current or Completed Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred * Organized, fast learner, detail oriented, comfortable with daily troubleshooting * Team player and leadership experience a plus * GPA 3.5 or higher preferred * Typical Hours: 40+ with overtime pay available. 25-50% travel required for first two years NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. US citizenship, US legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 USC 1324b(a)(3), or US Government export authorization is required.
