We won! DHL Express has been awarded with the Global Top Employer for 2021 DHL Express currently has an opening for a Retail Sales Executive at our Washington, DC location. The Retail Executive will be responsible for building and driving revenue to increase DHL's presence in the Retail Channel. The Retail Channel delivers more than $18M in annual revenue and plays an important role in promoting DHL's brand as well as providing convenience as a physical drop off point for customers. The Retail Executive will develop and execute telephone, web, email and mail marketing strategies to build loyalty and increase revenue from existing retail stores as well as establish and qualify clients/prospects. Tasks: * Generates new revenue via calls and visits to DHL (Retail) Service Point Partners within and assigned geographic area * Works in collaboration with Inside Retail (inside sales) Associates to support a base of Retail Partners with the intent to gain more shipments from the competition and to provide customer satisfaction and retention * Support growth efforts for DHL owned locations in assigned geography * Identify and activate exclusive partners in assigned geography * Identify potential locations for new DHL owned locations in assigned geography * Facilitate regional partner events Skill & Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree Preferred * Generally 2-4 years of experience in related area of responsibility. Preference would be experience in inside sales and/or field sales roles. * Senior service, production, or support roles highly experienced in area of responsibility * Performs all of the standard and some specialized, more complex aspects of the function * Outstanding phone presence with the ability to create rapport with prospective clients * Self-Motivated and driven to plan and execute sales generation DHL is an equal opportunity employer.
