If so, check out Fireline Corporationwe are seeking a highly skilled, positive, reliable Electrician to join our team As one of our technicians, youll be responsible to provides electrical services with specific responsibility for supporting fire protection systems, to include inspecting, installing, general service, repairing and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems, pump controllers and related equipment. What were looking for High school graduation or equivalent Minimum of five years of electrical experience Experience working with fire protection systems preferred, but not required. Advanced apprentice, journeyman or master is acceptable status to satisfy requirements. Journeyman or Master strongly preferred. Industrial, commercial or other significantly complex electrical experience required. To be qualified, you must have a valid Drivers License with a clean driving record, reliable transportation and be able to meet specific criteria defined by our vehicle insurance carriers. You must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Our technicians often work indoors and outdoors, so you must be comfortable working in different environments. Also, this position will require the ability to read, speak, sit, stand, walk, end, crawl, use your hands, reach, climb ladders and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. You should also be able to measure, cut and install materials for performing repairs. Other duties include: Electrical work performed independently and in conformance with local city, county, and state codes and standards of the profession. Analyze blue prints, schematics, and drawings of fire and/or other related electrical systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation/service of systems. Coordinate with internal/external partners for the purpose of completing short term work orders and long term projects efficiently. Inspect electrical / fire alarm systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, code compliance, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance. Install electrical system components as assigned (eg panels, audible/visual alarms, pull stations, detectors, etc.) for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded system capabilities. Provide support to restaurant install and service division as it relates to system components and enhancements necessary for kitchen hood fire protections needs Prepare written materials for the purpose of documenting work. Maintain assigned vehicles, equipment, and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring ability to complete assigned work.
