UIX Software Developer, NIH/CTIS, 55-60/Hr on C2C, Rockville, MD UIX Web Developer Rockville, MD, US The Web UIX Developer designs, develops, documents, unit-tests, implements and deploys responsive web-based applications to support business requirements. He/ she must follow CTIS' approved software development life cycle methodologies including Agile, Scaled Agile (SAFe) and all processes as required from time to time. A: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ( include the following. Other duties may be assigned) Interacts with the business analysis team to understand project requirements. Come up with UI and UX strategies based on our target goals. Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using prototyping tools such as Sketch and InVisios, etc,. Design, code, test, debug, document and support internet/ intranet applications Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code. Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary. Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support to the helpdesk and/ or maintenance team to help resolve technical issues with production systems by debugging, research and investigation. Applies HTML/ CSS/ JS standard coding practices and industry standards. Applies Section 508/ Accessibility Standards compliant software development methodologies.
