Overview: SEG/Axient is seeking a Simulation Software Engineer for the Modeling and Simulation Development Branch. Description: Selected candidate will assist in the design, development, test, and verification of SEG/Axient's missile trajectory and RF signature prediction simulations.The position covers the whole of the software development process, from design and implementation to testing, documentation and delivery.The highly dynamic and fast paced environment encourages speed and efficiency while maintaining product consistency, functionality and traceability.Candidates for this position will be required to learn applicable technologies and skills, and will be mentored and trained by the team as needed. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering or related field with a solid foundation in Mathematics and coding.No prior work experience is necessary but experience with a major programming language (C, C++ or FORTRAN) and a working knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems is required.Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, highly motivated and comfortable with working independently and in a development team.Applicants must possess US citizenship and a background that would permit the US Department of Defense to issue a security clearance.
