Corporate Director of Finance is part of the Finance & Accounting's Leadership Team. Reporting directly to CFO, this position is responsible for oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company's financial strategy and planning. Director of finance is a reliable professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial and business principles. He/she is a strategic thinkers and effective leaders who can make the most profitable decisions. This role will work directly with senior operational managers and other teams within Accounting & Finance.

  • This position will be routinely engaged in discussions with senior functional leaders across the business unit and the company.
  • Lead and evolve the core FP&A processes including monthly and quarterly forecasting;
  • Lead variance reporting and analysis;
  • Lead annual budget and planning process;
  • Oversee various audit relates to financial performance and financial data;
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting
  • Develop corporate financial reporting and commentary that provides senior leaders with timely insights into trends, operational results and business drivers
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Program Management, Operations and IT to create automated, scalable processes and best in class reporting capabilities
  • work closely with the finance teams and business stakeholders to understand business drivers and continue to develop solutions to address issues
  • Create and analyze financial reports, business KPIs, dashboards, and data models to support reporting and forecasting processes
  • Provide strategic business partnership to all functions, develop understanding of program strategies & prioritization to support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning assumptions
  • Serve as business partner and liaison to Executive team to help drive effective business decisions, sound financial strategies and alignment to achieving company objectives
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls Offer solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity
  • Create strategic financial projections and high-level actionable analysis
  • Support ad-hoc finance projects and analysis Development and review of the functional area(s)' finance staff.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong leadership and business acumen
  • 10+ years of Corporate FP&A experience
  • Experience in government contracting
  • Strong background in operational finance and controls with a leadership role in reporting financial results
  • Demonstrated experience
  • Strategic thinker who has ability to create, influence and execute cross-functionally to achieve results
  • Ability to partner and influence at all levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expert financial modeling skills
