Associate Readiness | Change Management Leader

The Retail Risk office Readiness Team is seeking a dynamic leader that will play a key role to help shape the strategy for improving and implementing change management across the Retail Risk organization.

We are looking for a passionate individual who will work closely with horizontal and vertical stakeholders to drive strategic implementation. As a Risk Manager in the Retail Risk Office, you will be responsible for governing the Change Management process to ensure risk advisors are taking the appropriate implementation steps to be compliant to the new or updated requirements. In this key role, you will partner with both the first and second line to ensure the bank is well-managed.

Competencies in communication, team work, job specific skills, integrated thinking, problem solving, and influence will be key for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead change management prioritization forums and oversee change management intake
  • Consult with Risk Office partners to ensure prioritization of implementation work is appropriate and meets all 2nd line compliance requirements
  • Support Risk Advisors in risk assessment capacity planning based on resource skills and average throughput (as needed)
  • Stay abreast of the changing environment and partner with the risk advisors and business to understand the impacts
  • Understand the changes implemented across the business and partner across the risk office to ensure the impacts are incorporated across various risk assessments (i.e. RCSA, PLA, PRA, NPMIG, etc.).
  • Assisting in the training and communication to the risk advisors completing the assessments and implementation
  • Leverage technology to drive process improvements
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic environment
  • Have excellent communication, problem solving and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders
  • Designing, developing, and managing project plans to meet changing requirements

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of Financial Services Risk Management Experience
  • At least 2 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with business clients

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Financial Services risk management experience
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
  • Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams
