Peraton's DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Diplomatic Security's Cyber Mission. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting Peraton's DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges.A' A' A' This position requires an activeTop SecretClearance with SCI eligibility. This position is located inBeltsville, MD.A' A' Duties and Responsibilities: A' A' Participate in research and implementations of new security tools and techniquesA' A' Identify advanced techniques and coordinate to improve incident response capabilitiesA' A' Coordinate with Cyber Monitoring & Operations Division to create and deploy new signatures on existing toolsetsA' A' #DSCM2022A' Basic Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:A' A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience is required. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree,A' 4 years of additional experience may be substitutedA' Active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain SCIA' Possess CASP+ CE or CISSP (or Associate) certificationA' Proficiency in designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutionsA' Efficient in multidisciplinary research and collaboration with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial softwareA' Has clear proven capability designing and has background to develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systemsA' A' A' Preferred Qualifications Candidates with these preferred skills will be given preferential consideration:A' Experience supporting the Department of State cyber security missionA' experience with programming languages from a cyber security perspective such as Linux/Unix, C++, Java/Python, SQL or PowershellA' A' Experience with testing (whitebox, unit, blackbox, integration, end-to-end)A' Able to determine computer user needs; analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; Familiar with preparing operating instructions.A' Colorado Salary Minimum: $67,600 Colorado Salary Maximum: $164,000 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
