Job Summary:
Westat is seeking a research associate to work on a large, fast-paced research support project for the National Cancer Institute.  The Team Lead will oversee the day to day activities of staff responsible for the management of protocol eligibility forms in the web based patient enrollment system used for NCI's oncology trials. The ideal candidate will understand protocol enrollment criteria, have a familiarity with data validation logic, have the ability to analyze problems and identify viable solutions as well as the ability to oversee staff to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

This is a full time position to work 3-4 days onsite at our office in Rockville, Maryland.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Oversee the day to day activities of staff responsible for the management of protocol eligibility forms in the enrollment system. patient enrollment system,
•    Configuration of data forms for protocol-specific requirements in the support for manual patient registrations and transfers. 
•    Testing of EDC forms to validate and ensure successful data transfers.  
•    Resolved patient enrollment user issues with client-site clinical staff. 

Basic Qualifications: 
•    A Master's degree in a health or social science related fields.
•    At least 2 years of relevant work experience within the clinical trials arena. 
•    Knowledge of the clinical trials process and familiarity with clinical trial protocols is required.

Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Experience with staff oversight.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    A strong ability to work with data and multiple applications.
•    Excellent attention to detail and processes are essential.
•    Excellent communications skills.
•    Good organizational and administrative skills.
•    Must be comfortable with using a variety of computer software including MS Office.
