We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for successfully leading all areas of HR including talent acquisition and retention, performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement, while supporting and enhancing the company's core values of quality, dependability and integrity. As the Director of Human Resources and a leader in the organization, this position will partner with the executive leadership team to improve the effectiveness and health of the team through an integrated, ongoing effort that embraces our mission and values, continuously improves performance, and adapts and responds to new challenges, all while balancing the needs of employees and the company's strategic growth goals. This position is best suited to a candidate who is energized by building and executing, and who can serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership team and advocate for the team. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with demonstrated experience collecting and synthesizing input from stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement, proposing creative and pragmatic solutions, and thoughtfully designing process rollouts through a change management lens. The successful candidate will also need to be experienced in employment law, compliance, and labor relations. Position Duties/functions: Embrace our mission, purpose, and values. Develop, implement, maintain and continuously refine a TALENT ACQUISITION strategy Develop and implement a PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT strategy to drive accountability consistent with company culture Develop a PEOPLE-FIRST LEARNING CULTURE that helps everyone meet their maximum potential Lead EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT practices, empathizing with employees and other stakeholders while balancing their needs with strategic objectives Oversee HR benefits, compliance, and compensation Qualifications: Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field Seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant human resources experience with recent strategic leadership Experience dealing with complex employee relations issues Demonstrated experience in building a HR function for a growing organization Proven ability to balance the strategic and tactical elements of the job Proven ability to support innovation and change Strong familiarity and experience executing HR disciplines including organizational development and effectiveness, talent management, performance management, etc. Experience supporting business growth and development Self-starter with demonstrated ability to multi-task in busy, fast-paced environment Strong influencing and negotiation skills Exhibit critical skill of building trust, relationship building and partnering with all levels of the organization Knowledge of behavioral assessment tools that support team dynamics and high-performing teams Core Competencies Leadership - ability to innovate, persuade, collaborate, evaluate, and implement Authenticity - ability to gain trust and respect with entire team and act with utmost integrity Communication - objective and empathetic listener, excellent verbal and written communication skills Emotional Intelligence - ability to manage conflict, promote equity and inclusion, and develop talent across a diverse, multi-generational team Business Acumen - an understanding of business operations and the systems, processes, and functions that drive profitable growth Analytical Ability - experience with "people analytics" including tracking, analyzing, and identifying patterns with HR data to effectively develop and optimize improvement strategies Change Agent - identify and drive organizational change while embracing vision, mission, and values Work Environment This job generally operates in a professional office environment.
