The successful candidate will be part of a highly professional, results-oriented company and will provide comprehensive financial business management support to the CEO and Senior Management Team.Job RequirementsThe Accounting Manager must be able to handle diverse accounting and finance duties in a Deltek Costpoint accounting systems environment. These duties can include Billing and Accounts Receivable, Labor Distribution and Payroll, Time and Expense, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting and month-end close, State and Local Tax filings, and financial reporting. We work in a collaborative environment with senior accounting and human resources personnel, we promote job rotation and job sharing in our job assignments, and we support hybrid teleworking.Skills and AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of the practices and principles of government contracts accounting, budgeting, cash management, contract management, generally accepted accounting principles, relevant state and federal statutes, Deltek Costpoint, ADP Workflow, MS Excel, and MS Word.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationMinimum of 10 years experience in Accounting in Federal or DoD ContractingHighly skilled with Deltek Costpoint, ADP Workflow, and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of a service-based business operation with Federal government contracting as well as business principles such as job costs, cost collection, analysis techniques, and project controlExperience with CPFF, T&M, and FFP billingExperience with closing the monthly books, providing basic reporting in the form of financial statements and PSRs, completing and overseeing account reconciliationsExperience in supporting the annual audit processExperience in managing one or two staff who are responsible for transaction processing duties in billing, accounts receivable, payroll, accounts payable, general ledger reconciliations, etc.VISTA offers a strong compensation package and a competitive leave package.
