Pizza Cook at Papa Johns Pizza

Responsibilities: Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats. Set up the workstation by checking the worktable, equipment, ensure they are properly stocked. Ability to operate handheld appliances and kitchen equipment such as dough press, handle and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Operating kitchen equipment including pizza oven and cooking times. Preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas according to company recipes. Following proper food safety guidelines. Managing all food order. Plating and packaging pizzas. Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.  Work as a team and train other cooks in the pizza preparation process for uniformity. Effective organization and communication skills with customers and coworkers. Ability to comply with public health requirements including wearing a mask is required. Cash handling and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $15.10 - $16 per hour; Job types: Full-time. Work location: On-site at Papa Johns, 5764 Georgia Ave., Washington DC. High school or equivalent degree (Preferred), One year pizza cook, and food service industry experience required.  Send resume to: mxsing1986@gmail.com
