Sr. Manager, Client Development for Strategic Partnerships (Lenders and OEM/Captive Financial Services)

As a Sr Manager on the Strategic Partnerships team at Capital One, you will apply your Business Development skills and business relationship experience to drive and secure mutually beneficial partnerships with industry leading national Lenders and OEM Captive Financial Service companies within the Automotive industry. You should be considered an industry subject matter expert with marketleading digital tools being used in the automotive marketplace today. You must have the ability to have meaningful business conversations within the automotive Lender and OEM Captive Financial Services industry.

You will work with C-level and Senior level leadership to systematically identify and evaluate business opportunities with your potential partners to establish and foster relationships that drive attraction and adoption to the Capital One Navigator Platform by diversifying lender options to deliver a better customer experience.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Partnership: Evaluate industry trends, technological shifts and market dynamics to identify and engage the right
partners to advance the development Capital One projects, programs and products that positively impact the customer
experience.
- Business Growth: Develop thorough understanding of partner's business dynamics and identify opportunities to
strengthen the strategic relationship with lenders to mutually grow our respective businesses, deliver improved
customer experience, and position Capital One as the partner of choice for future opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to
identify opportunities to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
- Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for
Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior.


Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of Auto Finance Industry Relationship Management Experience with large lenders
• At least 3 years working with Senior Executives in the banking and lending space
• At least 5 years of experience in partner management and corporate development
• At least 3 years of public speaking

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree
• At least 5 years working with Senior Executives at OEMs & Captives
• At least 10 of experience in partner management/corporate development
• At least 5 years of public speaking
