DCS is seeking an experienced System Engineer to join its teams developing Air Force and Navy autonomous systems on an Agile/SAFe team. This position can be conducted remotely.

Essential Job Functions:

Contribute to development as part of a team contributing to a multi-team, multi-organization enterprise using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Take ownership of and responsibility for products being developed.

Gain domain knowledge and contribute to providing technical guidance to system, software, and test engineers.

Represent the team in meetings and presentations as needed, including providing technical analysis & recommendations, and the development & presentation of meeting materials.

Work with other senior engineers and architects to relentlessly improve product developed.

Provide guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers.

Have a willingness to collaborate with other development teams, customers and users to produce the desired product that strives to exceed customer expectations.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma or GED plus 16 years of experience, an Associate's degree plus 10 years or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance within 6-9 months of hire date.

Experience engineering systems that are multi-network with communications systems

Ability to work with a geographically-distributed team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:

Active Security Clearance is preferred.

Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Agile Scrum, any SAFe certification is a plus.

Knowledge and familiarity with Git.

Experience with Terraform in Windows, Linux/CentOS, and VMWare environments.

Experience with or understanding of Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes and Microservices architectures.

Experience with ROBOT testing frameworks.

Knowledge and understanding of mission planning needs of military aviators.
