FUNCTION Large plastics packaging company with multiple manufacturing locations has an excellent opportunity available for a Technical Sales Manager. This is a home based position and can be located anywhere in the Midwest, Southeast or East Coast area. This position will be involved with key account management, new business development, relationship building, manage start-up's of commercial product qualifications or modifications and support customer technical issues. This position offers a very competitive base salary, bonus potential, car allowance and comprehensive benefits.REQUIREMENTS BS degree in Engineering is preferred. Experience in plastic injection molding, blow molding, plastics packaging, plastic bottles, caps & closures or thermoforming is highly preferred. Must have at least five year of sales experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A track record of business development is a must. Experience in HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, thermoplastics or polyolefins would be a plus.
