How you will make an impact: Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts ReceivableCarry out other related duties and work on special projects as assignedHelp with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projectsPrepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sourcesReconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as neededFile vendor invoices and disbursements and match & file A/P invoices to support accounts payableManually or electronically post financial informationAccurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)Bill Pay experience requiredStrong familiarity with Microsoft ExcelSpreadsheet and ERP system experience suggestedAbility to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgroundsAA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferredAccurate, swift, data entry abilities
