Position Title: Cloud Operations Specialist (Secret Clearance) Location: Washington, DC Clearance: ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE Position Status: Direct Hire POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for Cloud Operations Specialist candidates for a position located in Washington, DC This project involves the establishment of Enterprise Information Technology as a Service capability for the United States Air Force. It includes solutioning, establishing and configuring enterprise Cloud services to support legacy business system application migration from existing Government hosting environments to Amazon's AWS or Microsoft Azure. The Cloud Operations Specialist works with the C&S architects to define operations architecture to manage and operate services and applications in the cloud. Includes the monitoring, logging, auditing, image/patch management, change and configuration management, COOP/DR & backup management in alignment with ITIL best practices. SKILLS: Understanding and experience with Cloud Understanding and experience with AWS and Azure Understanding and hands-on experience with configuration, automation, and support of cloud technologies and environments
