You will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing all recruitment activities to ensure proactive and productive pipelines of talent to staff our Head Start classrooms and support services, including Teachers, Classroom Aides, Cooks, Custodial Staff and Bus Drivers. Reporting to the Associate Director, HR Business Advisor for Save the Children Head Start, you will actively collaborate, communicate and partner with to ensure shared visibility, situational awareness, and collaboration. What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties) Strategic Talent Sourcing(40%) Lead and deliver full-life cycle recruitment needs of Head Start operations within Save the Children (both exempt and non-exempt positions) under the direction of the Director, HR Business Advisor for Head Start, and in partnership with SCUS Talent Attraction and Acquisition and other HQ departments, and local leadership, Modeling and delivering sound active and passive recruiting techniques in assigned markets, including social media outlets, attracting internal referrals, performing grass roots marketing, career fairs, and cold calling to source and network with prospective candidates; as well as bringing other creative approaches appropriate for reaching a diverse and inclusive talent pool within our communities of service Engage local program Human Resources Managers/Specialists and local staff to contribute regularly in the constant sourcing and screening of potential talent, with a strong focus on minimizing the number and duration of staff vacancies. Model compliant and thorough applicant screening approaches to ensure thorough candidate vetting and selection ensuring that all presented candidates meet or exceed the meet the competency and technical requirements for the role. Compliance, Quality, and Mentorship (30%) Ensure real time data management and compliance within our Applicant Tracking System with a focus on data integrity and compliance with local laws, internal procedures; timely production of new hire paperwork, and timely applicant and candidate notifications, and organized and thoughtful completion of all necessary HR paperwork to close out recruitment files to ensure compliance with all SCUS policies, as well as Federal, State, and local laws and directives as Federal grantees. Partner with program level Human Resources Managers/Specialist within each SCUS Head Start program to model, involve, support, and sustain successful local full-life cycle recruitment including effective and proactive candidate sourcing activities building strong pipelines of talent, SCUS recruitment process compliance, and outstanding candidate experiences. Provide proactive regular reporting to both Human Resources and Head Start leadership to ensure situational awareness, analysis and recommendations around Head Start Recruitment activity, and engage the appropriate HR colleagues to leverage broader support to address potential staffing challenges Required Qualifications High School diploma plus at least five (5) years of relevant experience Proven experience providing recruiting support for multiple units and markets Demonstrated successful ability to navigate multiple priorities, sometimes with competing deadlines Demonstrated basic knowledge of HR laws, particularly as they relate to recruitment and employment Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external individuals and teams at all levels Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion, and fostering an environment of belonging Professional proficiency in MS Office Suite Professional proficiency in spoken and written English Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to rural locations This position may require the incumbent to operate a motor vehicle to fulfill certain essential functions of the job.
