The NA will be responsible for conducting audits/clearances of medical records based on the Health Care Professional's Overview Criteria for the particular assigned client(s), as well as ensuring that current forms are being utilized and all protocol components are in guideline order, within range, and complete. The NA will be also accountable for identifying issues based upon HCP's Overview Criteria, escalating problem cases accordingly to RNs, or if indicated, to the client's Medical Department, and preparing case presentations as necessary for escalation to the Medical Examiner. The NA also must document notes in CHESS as reviews are processed. The person in this role must understand client-specific clearance turnaround times, ensuring deadlines are promptly met or exceeded and must be aware of clients whose records are returned to them, and not stored at CHR. They must also be knowledgeable of special client projects with corresponding deadlines and document cases to spreadsheets as indicated per client. The NA must also sends clearance documentation to clients per their SOP and prepare records for shipment per client protocol.
