Job Description: AFS National Security Portfolio is looking for a Network Engineer to join our team that is building an advanced computing infrastructure for an important US Government customer. The Network Engineer will play a key role in providing scientific computing support, advanced computing capabilities, and supporting the IT infrastructure. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 2+ years of Network Engineering experience Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Desired Skills: 3+ years of experience troubleshooting complex problems and building technical solutions Prior experience working in or with the Intelligence Community in a technical environment Be able to troubleshoot and isolate network issues and faults Implement configuration changes and upgrades Proficient in layer 1, 2, 3 technologies Experience with cloud technologies, AWS, or Azure architecture concepts Experience with Linux administration in CentOS, Ubuntu, and bash scripting Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, network fundamentals, the ISO layer model, and data communications systems and protocols Deep knowledge and experience in switching, routing, and firewalls Experience with packet capture tools and traffic analysis Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Poly
