The Role: Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer The role of the Solutions Consultants (ie Sales Engineer) is to be the primary technical resource for Impexium's client acquisition team (ie sales).. As a Sales Engineer, you are the key technical advisor and product advocate responsible for driving technology evaluations and supporting our new client acquisition efforts. What you will do: Responsible for development and delivery of high-quality presentations and product demonstrations on site, remotely, and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc. Advocate and evangelize Impexium value propositions and technical capabilities with current and potential clients Participate in enterprise-wide consultations with clients to gather process, workflow, and reporting insights to craft alignment and provide recommendations between the needs of a broad range of client constituents with varying roles and Impexium's platform capabilities Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs / RFPs Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively convey client requirements to Product Management and R&D teams to enhance / refine Impexium's platform Ability to synthesize data; prepare product and market analyses by aggregating, analyzing, and identifying trends Maintain industry and competitive insight to bolster your reputation as a well-informed, trusted advisor Ability to create and maintain ongoing client relationships Serve as the customer's voice within Impexium, including product, marketing, professional services and sales What you will need: 5+ years relevant experience working with SaaS related solutions Strong and demonstrated communication skills; written, verbal, and presentation skills Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, communications, finance, marketing, or related field End-user experience with association management software systems Strong client facing and relationship building skills Ability to identify and recommend solutions Resourceful, coachable, and has a drive for results Ability to articulate an ROI and correlating business value with technology Focus on client enablement (transformational value) Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment Exhibit strong business judgement, high-level of initiative, creativity and flexibility Successful in collaborating and influencing in a "win as a team" environment Resourceful, coachable, and has a drive for results High energy, self-motivated and a problem-solver with an eagerness for continuous improvement Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM applications Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (current requirement is less than 50% due to COVID and will vary as clients and company health requirements shift) Previous experience working with or for associations is a plus.
