If you've seen Catch Me If You Can and are excited to stop fraudsters, we've got a perfect Product Manager position for you. You will be leading a team that uses data and cutting edge technology (e.g. AI / ML) to identify risky behaviors to keep our customers' money safe. But any added friction makes it harder for our real customers, so it will be important to find the right balance between security and ease of use. And just when you think you've figured it out, the fraudsters will try something new (they are very inventive), so be ready for a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will be part of the Small Business team, supporting the primary growth engine of America. And because 80% of Small Businesses fail because they have trouble managing their cash flow, you will play a critical part in helping these businesses thrive by ensuring they have timely access to their funds, while keeping them safe from fraudsters.

On any given day in the Small Business Bank you'll be:
  • Empowered. You'll play a major role in figuring out how to leverage technology and data to stop the fraudsters while ensuring a great customer experience. You'll lead a cross-functional team (engineers and analysts) in determining the best approach to get there.
  • Learning constantly. This is a complicated space at the intersection of new technology, shifting regulations, and evolving customer expectations. You'll need to ensure we are always heading in the right direction.
  • Sharing openly. Our culture is one of transparency. Collaboration across multiple teams is a key to success. You'll need to influence their roadmap while learning from their past experiences.
  • Innovating relentlessly. Push big change by starting small, testing ideas, and learning your way to results. You'll need to be comfortable conducting both large (quantitative in-app test/control reads) and small (qualitative user research session) tests.
  • Succeeding strategically. Solve the right problem, and have the confidence to stop work on the wrong one. Grow big by starting small and constantly refining the path towards success.
  • Connecting creatively. This is a hard problem to solve, so you'll need to find the best ideas from across the organization. How do you have an open and honest discussion on the path forward, disagree agreeably, and then move forward together.

  • Do-er. You have a bias toward action, you try things, and sometimes you fail. You don't let perfect get in the way of good. You do what needs to get done - "it's not my job" isn't in your vocabulary.
  • Communicator. You can communicate complex ideas clearly, your team knows their priorities and why they're doing what they're doing. Maybe you're an introvert, or maybe you're an extrovert, but nobody accuses you of keeping them out of the loop.
  • Collaborator. You know the right people to work with for each project. You can quickly get alignment with the key stakeholders while pushing forward without delays.
  • Analytical. You aren't scared of numbers; instead, you believe they help illuminate the truth. You build models over the weekend because they are fun.
  • Wrangler. You can influence front-end engineers to play nice with iOS developers, you can inspire an ETL developer to write creatively about her latest pipeline.
  • Fearless. Big, undefined problems don't frighten you. You're able to dive right in and put structure to them. You can work at a tiny crack until you've broken open the whole nut. You are comfortable in saying no.
  • Technical. While maybe not a hard-core coder, the developers will think of you as an "honorary member of the guild" because you can talk their language.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 year of product management experience or at least 3 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years working in the fraud space
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • Experience building products for Small Businesses
