The world of card acquisitions is undergoing a major modernization effort. One that will dramatically change how our systems operate, and how we bring new card customers into Capital One. Modernized systems open a world of new possibilities, everything from how we test new products and populations to how we store documentation so we are always ready to respond to a request from an auditor or regulator.
As a Principle Associate of Program Management at Capital One, you will play a key role in delivering well managed, re imagined and streamlined intent and processes that impact the company's bottom line and our customer's lives for over 30MM prospective customers each year. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders including Product, Technology and Business partners concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time. You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional organizational initiatives and projects.

- Ability to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly.
- A solid grasp of Process management concepts and Agile experience, working with Risk / Compliance Officers and Auditors, proven ability to work autonomously, and experience working with data and automation tools.
- The ability to be engage in Technology conversations and with a comfort level partnering with Tech

Responsibilities:
- Consultation and representation of well managed processes, customer experience, and risk management for new Intent
- Creating and validating processes and definition of required testing
- Technical Debt assessment and development of a roadmap to drive systematic operational excellence in the future
- Subject matter expertise for operations to effectively partner with Product, Technology, Partners and Segments to achieve desired outcomes or improvements by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions
- Active risk assessment, mitigation and management of services and Intent
- Understand and represent internal and external customers' needs of the process and drive process improvements
- Tracking and resolving process breakdowns
- Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership regarding the health of the Use Case delivery
- Updating formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams and SLQ2CQ documents to reflect any changes from Intent and system functionality launches
- Champion new delivery models including engaging Product and Tech teams in the creation and delivery of new intent
- Travel required 25% or less
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or at least 2 years of process management experience
- At least 1 year of experience transitioning online tools to the cloud
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of experience with Credit Card lending, Small Business and Commercial lines of business or Retail Partnerships
- 1+ years of experience with bots, machine learning or other technologies for automation
- 3+ years of experience in Process and Project Management
- Experience with SQL scripts and queries
