Principal Risk Associate- Enterprise Risk Management

We are looking to hire a new Principal Associate on our fast-moving, hard-working and fun team! Bring your unique perspectives and experiences to help the Enterprise Change and Risk Governance team be rigorous, curious and creative.

The Enterprise Change and Risk Governance Team is responsible for maintaining the Standards, processes and procedures that ensure the largest, most critical programs across first and second line divisions are well managed. We partner with first and second line risk managers and delivery leads to ensure governance requirements are embedded into program frameworks and monitor to ensure continued adherence to those requirements. We consult with, advise and prepare program leaders to deliver their best products. As a Principal Associate on this team, your role will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for quality assurance, and a desire to help the enterprise appropriately manage the change risk associated with large-scale project execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Standard Adherence activities for large programs (Enterprise Wide and Division Level Initiatives), document outputs, and communicate results with program leaders and stakeholders
  • Conduct assessments of Risk Oversight Committee (ROC) materials against the ROC Standard, document outputs and communicate results with ROC POCs
  • Partner with program leaders and stakeholders to address findings
  • Lead the creation of semi-annual Board reporting for Change Governance
  • Lead DLI Training sessions and LOB outreach on governance
  • Own updates to the Enterprise Programs Standard and Procedure and Risk Oversight Committee Standard
  • Gather insights from 1st and 2nd line business partners on DLI and EWI selection criteria; make recommendations and implement approved changes
  • Support interactions with Audit and/or external Regulators on matters related to Change Governance
  • Support maintenance of the Change Governance control suite
  • Define and support continuous improvement activities for all Change and Risk Governance processes


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality control, or process management, or project management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management or Compliance, or Audit
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality control, process management, or project management
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity on cross-functional teams
