Full Time

  • You will act as the Security point of contact in liaison with counterparts in the Command, other government organizations and industry to exchange information.
  • You will develop and control administrative projects, meetings, briefings and other initiatives supporting the Director of Security.
  • You will provide routine advice and assistance to Security employees on issues involving authorized leave, work schedules, time and attendance and awards, etc. and consult with the Human Capital Office on guidance.
  • You will initiate, maintain, verify, track and ensure all personnel actions are properly generated through the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) including proper documentation.
  • You will manage the Government Purchase Card for the Security Directorate to include making purchase and monthly reconciliations.
  • You will serve as the Non-DTA Entry Agent for all Defense travel authorizations and voucher for Security personnel.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience applying and adapting analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to access program development and increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Experience working with the Joint Travel Regulations and processing travel authorizations and vouchers in the Defense Travel System.
  • Experience of office management techniques, methods and procedures to execute administrative support.
  • Experience planning, scheduling and executing projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations.
  • Experience managing and using Government Purchase Card according to rules and regulations in line with the Department of the Navy.
  • Experience inputting, processing and tracking personnel actions in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS)
  • Experience reviewing performance appraisals for content and accuracy complaint with the Department of Defense Performance Management and Appraisal program.
