Job Title: Human Resource Business PartnerJob Location: Hanover, MDHourly Rate: $105,000 to $115,000/yr. based on experience (6-month Contract to Perm)Job Summary:-Partner with leaders in the assigned client group(s) to understand the people requirements and implications of business projects, initiatives, and action plans and turn them into people priorities, HR solutions, and action plans.-Exert influence to create positive change and proactively mitigate and resolve employee issues.-Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees concerning employee engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment and retention.-Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in the planning and execution of various HR programs.-Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with others on developing and implementing improvements.-Assist with transformational change and communication efforts by providing consultative support to local leaders to develop and execute business strategies.-Support the implementation of programs and processes within client group(s), including performance and compensation, org design, assessments, talent development, and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I).-Navigate the employee ticketing system to complete HR actions related to onboarding, termination, and job postings.-Support other corporate HR projects and programs, as needed.REQUIREDBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field (or relevant combination of education and experience)5-10 years' experience in an HR Business Partner role exhibiting impact and influence with leadershipDemonstrated ability to objectively coach employees and managementDemonstrated ability to effectively partner and influence with multiple stakeholder groups and levels of managementHas relevant experience or demonstrated ability in turning business strategies into people related actionsUnderstanding of state and federal labor laws and regulationsThorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standardsUS Citizenship is requiredDESIREDDemonstrated experience working with client groups in California with knowledge of California employment laws.Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is a plusPHR or SHRM Certification is a plusExperience working for a federal contractor a plus Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics About Advantage Technical Advantage Technical is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
