Product Marketing Manager | Interconnection
Job Description:The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for key GTM Marketing efforts for strategic product areas and work horizontally to support full solution-oriented initiatives. The Product Marketing Manager will possess knowledge of buyer needs, preferences, market drivers and hybrid IT architectures and work closely with all marketing functions, sales, sales support and product management to develop and implement innovative product marketing programs. This role will craft product messaging and positioning, support product lifecycle management, create and manage product and solution-based content, including sales enablement, thought leadership content, and support the development of programs that drive demand for prioritized solutions.The successful candidate will be the expert in understanding buyer needs, how to translate capabilities into buyer benefits and will transfer that knowledge into product messaging, marketing content and sales enablement tools.Key Responsibilities and Essential Job FunctionsCreate and execute product marketing and solution-based launch plans and support integration of solutions into marketing demand generation programs.Develop messaging to communicate solution benefits to specific customer segments.Extend market segmentation and targeting analysis, identify product-specific applications and develop buyer personas based on a clear understanding of the customer needs and wants.Develop value propositions, messaging, and positioning statements aligned with the buyers journey.Identify top competitors, use competitive intelligence to develop competitive positioning, incorporate competitive positioning into marketing programs, product collateral, and sales tools, identify effective marketing channels for specific programs and activities.Develop core collateral including web copy, product / solution brochures, external facing presentations and interactive content.Support public relations and analyst relations efforts via the development of diverse content and consistent engagement with industry influencers.Develop effective sales tools and support sales training.Required Qualifications Bachelors degree (BA) from a four-year college or university. MBA a plus.8-10+ years of B2B technology marketing experience; 5+ years of product marketing in IT infrastructure, data center services, cloud or enterprise level software preferred.Demonstrated track record of large-scale product or solution level launches in the technology space.Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of employees, including senior management, frequent external contact with industry analysts, customers and vendors.Experience working with large sales organizations and across the organization to accelerate pipeline development.Must be able to effectively develop relationships; possess strong prioritization skills; be detail oriented and able to meet aggressive deadlines.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and problem-solve.Base Pay Range: The pay range offered for this position is estimated to be $100,000-$128,000k per year, however, the actual pay range depends each candidates experience and qualifications.
