  • You will serve as the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Digital Engineering and Transformation Strategy lead to help manage its implementation across the program.
  • You will work across the government and industry team to refine, mature and embed Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering processes and culture.
  • You will utilize systems engineering modeling tools to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, validation, and life-cycle sustainment and support.
  • You will assist with the roll-out of a Digital Infrastructure and Technical Architecture.
  • You will incorporate technological innovation to provide transformational agility to the engineering practice.
  • You will assist in the development of concepts and strategies for future Digital Engineering projects tied to Technical Insertion opportunities.
  • You will modify current processes and procedures to support pilot programs and future Digital Engineering environment changes.
  • You will develop metrics and evaluate effectiveness and utilization of the modeling tools and Digital Infrastructure.
  • You will advocate for agile, user-centered approaches to design, develop, test, certify, field, train, and sustain digital capabilities.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.


Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Implementing strategic direction for resolution of mission-critical problems, policies, and procedures of digital infrastructures within an organization.

This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This position has a control point; thus the salary range may be capped at the GS-15, step 05, which is equivalent to $168,282. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched.
