Amount Small Business has an expansive and diverse set of name brand clients, including Citizens Bank, Fifth Third Bank and Bank of the West, among others.Key Responsibilities:This is a junior position that is responsible for configuring and maintaining data aggregation, analytics, underwriting and workflow strategies that support processing credit applications and business process automation on our configurable credit risk management platform. The individual will work closely with our credit risk management, analytics, underwriting, loan operations and engineering teams to configure changes on the Decision Engine platform. The Decision Engine platform operates our risk and pricing models, data aggregation connectors to third party data sources and our various credit rules and policies associated with the origination process.PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A DATA SCIENCE ROLESpecific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Implement changes on our Decision Engine (automated business rules, credit models and pricing models) platform across all businesses/channelsDrive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the companyCode various models and requirements from different departmentsDevelop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departmentsDevelop expert knowledge of the credit rules, models and underwriting strategies in place for each line of business and customer segmentationEnsure the highest level of data integrity through our data aggregation processManaging product road maps and releases of the Decision EnginePartner closely with members of credit risk management, analytics, underwriting, loan operations and engineering teams to drive the implementation of new strategies and workflowsCreate and manage the necessary documentation reporting to track changes and performanceCollaborate closely with credit, analytics, engineering, production and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organizationRequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Extreme attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the jobExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to grasp the intersection of business use cases with analytical needsHighly organized with proven ability to multi-taskTechnical writing experience (Good written and verbal communication)Mental toughness and comfort in dealing with people in various levels of the organizationBachelors in a quantitative field (eg, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, etc.) or equivalent experienceProficient with the use of at least one programming languagesExperience in consumer or commercial lending is a big plusBenefitsSalary range commensurate with experience and capabilitiesComprehensive benefits package including generous PTO, health, dental, vision, 401K with company matchBonus eligibleAmount provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
