ABOUT THIS POSITION: Under supervision of the Nutrition 3 Management Analyst II, performs technical, clerical, and support duties for Nutrition programs, and performs other duties as assigned to support the work of the Adult and Aging division. Manages a variety of administrative tasks between Nutrition Units and other programs as needed. Provides technical support by performing data entry and generating reports from appropriate databases. Enters Uniform Assessment Instruments and other information into databases. Maintains confidentiality. Interfaces with staff and community members as needed to support the accuracy of data entry and support to meet reporting requirements. Troubleshoots and reviews reports for discrepancies and accuracy. Reviews invoices for accuracy and reconciliation. Creates, maintains, and reconciles Power Point presentations, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, surveys and other documents that support the work of the Adult & Aging division. Coordinates storage space, schedules and sets up virtual and physical meetings, as needed, orders office supplies, answers phone lines, staffs reception areas as requested, and fields calls to appropriate personnel. Along with other A&A administrative staff, provides fleet management services in coordination with Cross Division services.

Note: The assigned functional areas of the position are general administrative support, data entry, office management, event management, and the experience working with a variety of information and database (software) systems.

Basic skills in the use of Microsoft Word.
PC Skills
Basic skills in the use of applicable Microsoft software.

Employment Standards

Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and one year of experience providing administrative support in the assigned functional area(s).

Valid driver's license.

  • 4 year / bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience using human services database applications, such as Harmony
  • Experience using computer and software programs, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite applications.

  • Ability to handle multiple and changing tasks
  • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently
The appointee to the position must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check, a driving record check, and a Child Protective Services check.
