Dent Wizard is looking to hire an Automotive Paint Apprentice to work alongside experienced automotive paint technicians to service customer where he/she will be exposed to "hands on" on the job training focused on automotive paint.With Dent Wizard you will learn the latest techniques in automotive paint and refinishing. This technical training program is designed for candidates that have an automotive background or are currently enrolled in a refinishing & collision course(s). Successful candidates will good mechanical aptitude, because it's not just about spraying paint - you could find yourself removing panels, repairing them, and replacing themResponsibilities. Assist the lead paint tech in repairing and painting the surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques. color matching. Mix specified color using standard formulas. Wet sanding and buffing of refinished and OEM paintwork. Sand, mask & paint surfaces, blend & polish finish to match the surrounding areas. Using a brush, apply or retouch paint as necessary.
