Why CompuCom? (Overview) The Service Sales Executive (SSE) is responsible for driving new client business within their assigned territory to meet or exceed their sales quota. Responsible for generating leads, building relationships and educating key stakeholders of prospective customers. Will need to be consistently growing their pipeline and closing new services contracts. Will need to collaborate with internal resources to identify solutions and meet customer needs. Work From Home. Must be based in the Washington DC territory Responsibilities Source new business for CompuCom by generating demand including building healthy pipelines and utilizing a variety of prospecting tools/digital techniques to support demand generation efforts. Perform cost-benefit/needs analyses, create proposals/solutions (including SOW), etc. to meet the needs of existing and potential external customers, and close sales. Achieve sales quotas within assigned area. Identify and build relationships/effective partnerships with external clients. Design and deliver value-added sales presentations (ie. brackets, 1-1s, power points, etc) to key decision-makers, industry experts, etc. Acts as a liaison between customer and the company to resolve issues and close sales. Identify and build relationships/effective partnerships with internal key stakeholders/partners and internal resources (including Consulting, Marketing, Proposal Services, etc.). Maintain CRM (salesforce.com) including ensuring all data is complete/up to date/accurate. Ensure completion of order entry/invoicing/customer processes for all ongoing, client-related business. Education and Experience College BS or BA degree preferred. Experience as an individual contributor selling professional/technology services, managed services or end user solutions History of successfully selling into Fortune 1000 companies preferred. Industry Knowledge of IT services and products. Experience preparing, writing, creating, and delivering value-add sales solution presentations and proposals. Ability to navigate digital tools including social media platforms Verbal communication skills: You must be able to provide concise information about the services you are selling. Excellent selling, Excellent communication, and negotiation skills. Listening skills: The ability to listen well in order to understand others allows you to respond to your customers' needs, wants, and concerns. A digitally savvy individual with the ability to quickly learn/exploit evolving digital tools and analytics Understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) service desk, dispatched services, life cycle services, Microsoft modern desktop, collaboration tools, is preferred Competencies Generating a new business prospect base thru demand generation and new logo acquisition. Ability to penetrate new accounts; possessing a demonstrated sense of urgency to quickly identifying solutions to business needs upon initial customer contact Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations tailored to your audience Relationship management skills Interpersonal skills: You must be able to understand non-verbal cues as well as negotiate with and persuade your customers and overcome objections. Critical-thinking skills: The ability to weigh all your options and choose the best one is essential when you have to make a decision or solve a problem Customer service skills: You must respond appropriately to your customers' questions, concerns, and complaints. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment to provide best of breed solutions to our customers with a win-win focus and strategy. Ability to maneuver internal organization and customer organization to achieve results. Ability to understand the customer's business model and build roadmaps based on technology and service needs. Self-starter with the ability to self-manage your daily activities to drive personal success Personal Skills Ability to work creatively as an individual contributor remotely in a virtual home office environment. Ability to work quickly, manage large deal volume, and thrive in a very fast paced sales environment.
