We are looking for a Vice President/Director/Manager of Business Development, Army who will be responsible for growing business by identifying and qualifying opportunities with both existing and new Army customers. Our primary focus is IT O&M and Development, and our secondary focus areas are engineering and C5ISR. This position will also be tasked with creating and implementing strategies that will expand Zantech's CONUS customer base and in the future, may establish a presence in Army OCONUS markets. This position will report directly to our Chief Growth Officer. This position may be remote with a preferred location commutable to Army customers with the greater DC metro, or alternatively other Army locations having significant IT business. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop account strategy including Zantech value proposition Grow and qualify the pipeline to support Zantech's plans through diligent and timely identification / qualification of new business opportunities Drive business to Zantech's IDIQ/GWAC vehicles and GSA Schedules Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships, with all key Government stakeholders within the Army targeted customers Conduct customer visits and perform research to understand current and emerging customer needs and requirements Lead opportunity gate reviews through qualification Support capture activities on large engagements and lead capture activities on small task order bids until RFP release Support development of differentiated winning solutions that balance innovative technologies, processes, management structure, staffing, risks and price. Support development of compelling proposals Conduct presentations for large groups of internal and external stakeholders Adhere to established business development processes Participate in professional associations and conferences. Identify and attend trade shows to identify new business opportunities, strengthen current customer relationships, and expand the company customer base. QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED: Demonstrated success in qualifying and winning IT opportunities for a federal government contractor or experience as a government employee leading/managing/supporting IT competitive acquisitions. Existing and deep contacts with key Army stakeholders leading/managing/supporting IT programs. Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities Strong understanding of the federal competitive acquisition process Executive Presence Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives. An active Secret or higher security clearance or to ability to obtain one Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience To be eligible for this role, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at time of hire. QUALIFICATIONS - DESIRED: Demonstrated success in qualifying and winning IT opportunities with a life cycle value exceeding $25 million Subject Matter Expertise in IT operations and maintenance, solution development and sustainment, and engineering Knowledge of emerging technologies Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
