Job Description Term of Employment Direct Hire (Competitve Salary) Location: Merrifield, VA area WFH Capabilities: As of now the position will be hybrid as the client begins the process of transitioning into a new office. Most days will be remote, but there will be times where you will be required to go in for meetings to a designated location. Eventually there is a plan to transition back into the office on a more regular basis but they are still several months away from that scenario. Overview of Position Our client is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Business Development Director. The Business Development Director will work closely with the ever growing internal leadership team. The Business Development Director will be primary responsible for the planning, implementing and managing all of the business activities; including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. The position reports to the CEO Responsibilities Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets Creating and maintaining positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients Contacting potential clients to establish a business relationship and schedule meetings Develop new sales areas and improve current sales areas, utilizing different methods. Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand business Collaborate with the sales and design teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing Manage the process for reviewing financial reports, forecasting, budgets, ways to reduce cost and advise on long-term financial planning Team up with executive leadership on strategic planning for Business Development and provide recommendations Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary Required Skills & Experience Master of Business Administration (MBA) Bachelor's degree with 7+ years' experience Sharp, dynamic, creative and solution-oriented Critical and analytical thinker with persuasive skills Impeccable written and verbal communications skills Ability to present to senior principals in the investment field Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills and the ability to take initiative Handle multiple detail-oriented tasks and prioritize them effectively Ability to write business plans, financial models, revenue proformas, and pitch decks Ability to think, plan and execute strategically on investment ventures Strong Project Management skills with a "problem solving" orientation and knowledge of Project Management methodologies Ability to work in a diverse team environment, across different time zones Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients nTech is an equal opportunity employer.
