Part Time Agile Delivery Lead

Capital One is looking for an innovative Agile Delivery Lead who is eager to collaborate with our agile community to help drive our continuous improvement agenda. The Agile Delivery Lead will partner with Agile Coaches, Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters to collect feedback and enhance our data, metrics, reporting, and tools.

The traditional 40-hour work week might not work for everyone so Capital One's Technology organization is rethinking how work gets done.

As a Part-time Agile Delivery Lead at Capital One, you'll be part of an innovative new program that aims to grow our diverse and inclusive workforce by increasing part-time employment opportunities.

Part-time Program Associates will work with their managers to determine a schedule that best meets the team's and the individual's needs and that falls within 20 - 32 hours per week. On occasion, support for an off hours implementation rollout and/or issues resolution may be required with advanced notice provided.

What you'll do:

You will be passionate about Delivery
  • Ensure the team maintains focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Provide visibility into delivery targets, commitments and progress
  • Be well managed - Understand and coach the team on delivery controls/compliance to minimize operational/reputational risk.


You will be a trusted Coach to the team
  • Integrate Agile and Lean principles into team practices and work products
  • Coach product owner/team on backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Utilize team feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity and work with the team to continuously improve.
  • Innovate with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve the team and their delivery
  • Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-organization
  • Actively seek and participate in learning opportunities such as Communities of Practice, conferences and classroom training and/or independent study to further develop self and community.


Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of Agile Delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologies
  • At least 3 years of Technology Project Delivery experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree
  • 4+ years of agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe frameworks
  • Agile certifications to include: CSM, CSP, PMI's ACP, SAFe, PMP or Lean Six Sigma
  • 4+ year of experience using Jira or Confluence
