GENERAL SUMMARY : Oversees the team of network engineers responsible for maintaining the network which includes creation and timely execution of project plans forinstallations and upgrades. This includes hardware and software running in a virtualized environment (VMWare) with the use of Citrix. Analyzing, investigating and resolving or documenting network issues. Assists with end user support as needed. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop and execute the operations projects with multiple project engineers, managers and vendors and consultants. Responsible for project functions included but not limited to Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Request Procurement. Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s). Coordinate and communicate projects group as needed on major projects. Prepare project estimates, budget, schedules and execution plans. Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of the project. Responsible for managing a team of network engineers. Distributes the work and ensures its completion as well as coaching and training the staff and completing performance reviews and giving feedback to the manager on employment decisions. Perform other project engineering and project management related duties Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule. Provide administrative functions for Citrix XenApp, VCenter and VMWare. Develop processes for testing and deploying of hardware and software deployed. Coordinate with vendor to determine specifications needed to run applications. Provide administrative support for Server 2003, 2008-2016. Assit with infrastructure design an upgrade Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Participate in the Bank's Disaster Recovery Program. Document procedures. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information or related focused technical training or 4 additional years of engineering and project management. 7 years experience in a combination of operations, engineering and IT project management with emphasis on engineering and project management. 4 years experience with designing and implementing datacenter technologies required 3 years experience remediating vulnerabilities in a windows environment required Progressive experience with the sole responsibility of managing mid to large projects as well as the ability to take on project management functions Preferred Education/Experience: Datacenter experience supporting "Enterprise technology" in a Citrix environment preferred 3 years network engineering/administration in the financial sector Required Certifications, Licenses or systems needed : At least one (1) recognized certification such as: MCP, MCE or MCSE required Preferred Certifications, Licenses or systems: Cisco certification preferred Project Management (PMP) certification preferred Required Knowledge & Skills: Strong track record of successfully completed projects Strong Network Administration knowledge. Strong Desktop/Server knowledge. Strong Active Directory/Exchange Administration knowledge. Strong Citrix Management knowledge. Hardware/Software support knowledge. Working knowledge of SQL database administration. Working knowledge of Windows workstation support. Requires skill in coordinating technology projects. Vendor management knowledge. Strong Software installation and configuration knowledge. Servers/Desktops/Printers/Scanners knowledge Working knowledge of MS Office.
