Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Lead Surgical Supply Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Lead Surgical Supply Coordinator you will:
•The Lead Surgical Services Supply Coordinator is responsible to the Surgical Services Business Manager
•Works closely with the Business Manager, OR Clinical Coordinators, physicians and vendor representatives to ensure that all special order supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available as needed for surgical procedures
•Responsible for the timely processing of all Bill Only (BO) for surgical procedures
•Reconciles "free texted" supplies with item master to ensure proper patient charging
•Responsible for requesting the creation of new supplies and addition to item master
•Responsible for maintaining adequate PAR levels in the tissue room and reconciliation of EHR and Tissue Tracking system

Qualifications Include:
•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required (i.e. Healthcare, Finance, Mathematics, Business or Computer Science)
•OR technician background preferable
•Medical/surgical supply chain, inventory background desired
•Knowledge of charge coding desired
•Advanced computer skills - MS Office suite
•PeopleSoft skills a plus
•Critical thinking skills and demonstrated proactive approach necessary
•Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
•Ability to multitask and operate in a fast pace environment essential
•Experience in Healthcare, supply chain management and surgical products.
•Expertise in business management tools. Excel, Office word-processing and Power Point.
•Produce variance reports in timely and accurate manner.
•Communicate with multiple audiences: Physicians, Director, staff, and administration.
