We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Manager who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running not just on time but within budget. Supporting our Virginia and District of Columbia operations, you'll be responsible not only for the overall project delivery, but also for the compliance of design plans during construction as well as the safety, technical, contractual, budget and schedule activities. We'll depend on your expertise to manage construction inspection methods, be watchful of construction techniques and ensure regulations standards are being upheld. You'll have the opportunity to coordinate with State and City personnel, client, contractor, and project stakeholders during course of the project. Also, we'll depend on you to review submittals and RFIs. Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and extreme organizational skills and we'll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together. **Here's What You'll Need:** * Bachelor's degree * Professional Engineering (PE) license, DC preferred or the ability to get a DC PE * Substantial construction management experience in the construction of new and widening of roads, highways, freeways and bridges such as grade separations and interchanges * Experience programming the maintenance activities for a mature roadway network * Experience working VDOT and/or DDOT projects Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
