Facebook is seeking a Strategic Counselor for its Deputy General Counsel, Global Litigation ("DGC Litigation"). This position will report directly to the DGC Litigation and will be part of the leadership team of the Meta Litigation, Antitrust and International Regulatory group. The position is intended to facilitate the enhancement of the group's coordination with Meta's Finance, Corporate Secretary, Compliance, Product Legal, Chief Legal Officer and to act as an advisor and key support to the DGC Litigation. Strategic Counselor Responsibilities: Support the DGC Litigation in proactively managing key priorities and initiatives across the Group, including through liaison with colleagues, organizing meetings and follow-up on key issues, and helping to leverage leadership time and attention on critical mattersManage the collection, review and transmission of information to Meta's Board Directors, Management, Finance, Disclosure Counsel and Internal and External Auditors regarding litigation, antitrust and internal regulatory issues, priorities, risks and loss contingenciesCoordinate responses to periodic certifications and requests, including quarterly SOX and privacy program certifications and representation lettersOversee the preparation of periodic reports to the Chief Legal Officer and other DGCs including overseeing the preparation of the monthly reports and week-ahead postingsAssist the DGC Litigation in assessing and tracking resource needs, hiring, budgets and internal and external expendituresFacilitate coordination with Communications, Policy, Human Resources, Finance, Business Partners and other parts of LegalManage the Group's internal policies, procedures, and training programsMonitor and report on progress with respect to international regulatory issues and projects Minimum Qualifications:JD degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar8+ years of attorney experience, including in-house or law firm experienceExperience leading cross-functional projects with multiple internal stakeholdersProject management and decision-making experience Preferred Qualifications:Experience with complex litigation and regulatory matters, disclosure, and financial reporting issuesExperience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and controlExperience handling confidential information and using discretion Facebook is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
