Now Hiring - Account Executive - Remote in Maryland or VirginiaHours: The Account Executive is responsible for marketing pharmacy services to skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities in designated territory/(ies). Candidates with prior long term care pharmacy experience or experience selling other products, services, and/or software to long term care facilities are highly preferred. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:Market and sell pharmacy services to Long Term Care and Assisted Living Communities within the assigned territory.Meet or exceed sales targets.Work with VP of Sales/Marketing and Pharmacy Operations Management in evaluating and qualifying new business opportunities.Identifies business opportunities through sales calls, referrals, marketing reports, CMR, and in communicating (verbally and in writing) with nursing, assisted living, and managed care organizations to assess market needs.Work with VP of Sales/Marketing to developing strategic territory plans and targeting high potential prospective customers.Work with VP of Sales/Marketing and Pharmacy Operations Management in finalizing contracting, coordinating startup of new accounts and transitioning account services to pharmacy operations, upon obtaining service commitment from customer.Confident in cold calling in person and via phone.Work with VP of Sales/Marketing and Pharmacy Operations Management to maintain and strengthen customer relationships by providing ongoing support and value to customers.Communicate with other pharmacy team members to uncover leads and resolve customer service concerns.Complete sales, retention, daily/weekly activity reports, contracting, and other administrative procedures as assigned by the VP in a timely and accurate manner.Participate in local, state and national industry trade shows as required to grow area of responsibility.Qualifications Education:Bachelor's Degree required Professional Experience: 5+ years of prior sales experience in healthcare related experience preferred. (Nursing Home Administrators, Nurses, or other related licensure a plus). MS Office Suite, particularly: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint Results orientation, adaptability, sales process methods, product/service knowledge, Excellent oral/written communication Strong planning/organizing skills Ability to travel, 75% including some overnight travel Must have own reliable transportation Valid driver's license required
