Apprentice Sprinkler Technician performs duties related to assisting Sprinkler Technicians with inspection, testing, operation, maintenance, installation of apparatus, devices, and systems. Apprentices should exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with Service Manager, Coordinators, Management, and Customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction experience. Responsibilities: . Site inspecting, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting and repair services performed on the client's and other manufacturer's equipment. . Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks. Monitor and assure the progress and completion of assigned . Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner. . Follow troubleshooting guidelines and refer to technical/parts manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose & repair equipment or systems. All work performed, whenever possible, should be reviewed with the customer. . Document detailed reports of inspections or maintenance performed, fire code violations observed, and recommendations . Attend trainings and spend time reading to build and maintain current knowledge of procedures and new technology . Adhere to all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures. Customer Relationships: . Maintain professional, timely, communication with customers to assure problem resolution. . Develop and maintain professional customer relationships . Ensure customer satisfaction Teamwork: . Develop collaborative relationships with coworkers at all levels and in all departments of the company Qualifications: The successful candidate must be independent and self-motivated with a solid history of decision making, taking accountability, demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles to success. . High school diploma or GED required . Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required . Prior demonstrated mechanical aptitude preferred . Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer service. . Strong computer skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Google apps for business required. . Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: . Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. . Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing in a pleasant professional and effective manner. . Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. . Strong time management skills and work ethic . Ability problem-solve and adapt to change in a fast-paced dynamic environment. . Customer service mindset and high interpersonal savvy. . Ability to complete assigned tasks with a minimum of guidance and oversight. . Must have attention to detail and excellent communication skills and follow through. . Must have a positive attitude, ability to learn quickly, and able to work under pressure. . Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 60 lbs. . Ability to use both hand and power tools . Requires reliable sight, hearing, verbal communication, and touch . Must be able to stand for long periods of time . Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, climb and work overhead.
