Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Wellness Program Manager for our Cancer Care Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Wellness Program Manager you will:

• Be responsible for the development and overall management of wellness programs in support of the psychosocial and emotional needs of cancer patients, caregivers, and cancer center staff.
• Oversee wellness programming at Aquilino Cancer Center and extend to overarching community.
• Develop, manage (to include budget), review, and evaluate wellness programs. • Ensures program goals are met.
• Manage wellness program support infrastructure in including on-line registration, program promotion, purchasing, staffing, marketing, and communication
• Co-facilitate support groups for adults and children - direct patient/talent interface
• Communication / rapport building with volunteers, patients, staff, physicians , vendors/ community partners, and program facilitators.
• Design and distribution of newsletters, flyers, and other promotional materials. Interface with AHC Marketing.

Qualifications include:

• At least 5 years' experience in program coordination or administration
Understands the psychosocial needs and challenges of cancer patients and their family members
• Proficient with databases, scheduling software, e-mail marketing software, social media, and telehealth or video conferencing platforms.
• Knowledge of MindBody preferred.
• Experience in full lifecycle of program development including needs assessment, content design, staffing, and evaluation.
• Experience scheduling and supervising staff or volunteers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong people skills
• Interest and general knowledge of wellness interventions such as yoga, nutrition, therapeutic art, etc.
• Some experience directly leading psychosocial programs in the role of teacher, social worker, counselor, or similar
• Able to work closely with all relevant departments including medical, philanthropy and social work/navigation teams.
• Bachelor's degree, social work preferred
• Ideal candidate will hold a masters degree in social work or related training.
• At least 2 years of program administration or related experience with preference given to applicants with experience with cancer patients and/or wellness programs.
• At least two years of experience in direct patient contact as a group lead or co-lead, counselor, or social worker.
• 1 year preferred or relevant training.
• LMSW preferred
